Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Statistics, Mathematics or related majors.
• Familiar with Linux operating system and development environment.
• Solid fundamentals in data structures and operating systems.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (C/C++, Java, Python).
• Sensitive to data, meticulous and conscientious, with ability to identify data-driven problems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data flow and data service construction for ByteDance's global payments.
• Address ultra-large-scale data issues, processing billions of incremental user data daily.
• Manage real-time transmission, cleaning, conversion, and calculation of streaming data; provide efficient external query services.
• Contribute to data governance to improve usability and quality of data.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions in collaboration with business teams.
