Job summary

ByteDance is expanding its Global Payment Tech analytics team to advance payments, wallets, and currency services across markets. You will own analytics, design metrics, and run experiments to optimize global payments performance.

The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration across engineering, data science, and product teams to turn data into actionable business improvements and AI-enabled risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related quantitative disciplines.
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL, Hive, Python, Spark and other tools for data analysis and experimentation.
• Solid theoretical foundation in statistics, data analysis methodologies and experimental design.
• Exceptional logical reasoning and data acumen, with strong problem-framing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end analytics for global payments, including metrics system design, business iteration diagnosis and A/B experiment assessment.
• Lead deep-dive analytics initiatives, translate analytical findings into actionable insights and optimization levers to drive sustained business growth and operational improvement for global payments.
