KLN Logistics Centre (Tampines) Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Trade & Carrier Management professional to drive growth across global ocean trades. The role collaborates with country teams, commercial groups, and carriers to strengthen competitiveness and profitability.

The candidate will lead small teams regionally, applying strong negotiation and analytical skills to deliver pricing guidance, yield improvements, and strategic customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in ocean freight, trade management, or carrier management.
• Strong understanding of global ocean freight markets and carrier dynamics.
• Proven ability to drive growth, yield improvement and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial performance of assigned global ocean trades.
• Develop and execute trade development plans aligned with growth agenda.
• Drive volume growth, GP improvement, and trade competitiveness across lanes.
• Assist countries with local trade plans, target accounts, and growth initiatives.
• Identify emerging trade flows and high-growth customer segments.
• Manage carrier relationships and procurement for assigned trades.
• Support negotiations, rate discussions, capacity planning, and service commitments.
• Lead, coach and develop Trade Managers, Specialists and Analysts.
• Provide pricing guidance for major RFQs and tenders.
• Collaborate across a global matrix with country and regional teams.
