Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a master scheduler and planner to oversee master scheduling, capacity analysis, and BOM integrity across global sites. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing to drive cycle-time reduction and on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on experience with MRP, SAP, Rapid Response, and build-plan optimization, plus the ability to lead cross-functional meetings and implement new processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with master scheduling and planning processes.
• Proficiency with MRP systems and SAP integration.
• Experience in capacity constraint analysis and metric reporting.
• Knowledge of NPI routings, BOMs, and build plans.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and maintains master scheduling and/or slotting reports; performs cross-functional process improvements.
• Manages order pull/push, capacity analysis, and creates routings for products and test strategies globally.
• Leads meetings with engineering and manufacturing to align routings and reduce cycle time.
• Monitors MRP accuracy, resolves data integrity issues, and supports P2P and supply chain processes.
• Coordinates with marketing to ensure opportunities and sales orders are set up in SAP; drives slotting methodology.
• Develops build plans and sourcing strategies, manages forecast PIRs, and supports CAPCODE/TND logic.
