Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) seeks a skilled Functional Business Analyst with project management experience to drive the delivery of Global Markets solutions. The role is a functional and business analysis owner with strong requirements gathering, design, and stakeholder engagement across GM trading systems and delivery risk.

As part of the GM Business Technology and Operations team, you will lead requirements analysis, gap analysis, and process mapping, while coordinating SIT/UAT cycles

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8–10 years in functional business analysis, banking preferred.
• 5–7 years in Global Markets/Capital Markets BA roles.
• Strong domain knowledge across Global Markets products (FX, Rates, Credit Derivatives).
• Experience in SIT/UAT and delivery tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis and translate into clear business requirements and scope.
• Drive gap analysis, process mapping, and workflow optimization.
• Formulate solution options and support delivery trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Risk, and Tech teams.
• Manage SIT/UAT cycles, test scenarios, and defect triage.
• Provide BA leadership in issue resolution across domains.
• Develop domain roadmaps and phased delivery approaches.
• Communicate roadmaps and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Track progress, dependencies, risks, and report to senior management.
• Represent BA function in governance forums.
