Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking a Market Risk and Product Control professional to support risk management, trade surveillance, and governance across Global Markets. The role involves working with Front Office systems, portfolios, and risk metrics across regional offices.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting/business with 2–3 years in banking, strong analytical skills, and experience with VBA/Excel; SQL/Python familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• 2–3 years of banking/financial services experience, risk control or QA preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
• Proficient with Excel/VBA; familiarity with SQL and Python beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade surveillance checks on Global Markets trading activities, including various risk indicators.
• Support overseas locations with trade surveillance monitoring for alignment.
• Maintain and control Front Office portfolios and P&L performance trees.
• Assist in KRCSA reviews, testing, and monthly risk indicator reporting.
• Document SOPs and ensure they are up-to-date.
