Job summary

You will work with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to support end-to-end operations while complying with shipping and customs regulations. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, SCM, business, or related field.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or freight coordination preferred.
• Familiarity with international shipping terms, customs regulations, and documentation.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across departments and regions.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and shipping or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with overseas suppliers on cargo readiness.
• Arrange shipments into Singapore and transfers to overseas bonded warehouses.
• Source for sea and air freight quotations to optimise costs and operations efficiencies.
• Meticulous in following up with suppliers and freight forwarders on cargo shipment and document updates.
• Diligent in processing shipping documents and monitoring shipment movements.
• Update shipping schedules timely to ensure accuracy and completeness of delivery schedules.
• Update Sales and Procurement business units on shipping schedules.
• Work with Logistics and Warehouse business units on incoming shipments.
• Prepare landed cost computation for incoming shipments.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and suppliers on damaged shipment claims.
• Update suppliers and procurement team promptly on quantity and type discrepancies of goods shipped.
• Be familiar with and ensure compliance with international shipping requirements, customs regulations and documentation.
• Any other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Education

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
