Job summary

Randstad Singapore is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the industrial sector for a Logistics Coordinator in Singapore. The role involves coordinating freight from forwarders, arranging air, sea and land shipments, and preparing shipping paperwork.

You will track shipments, manage customs clearance, liaise with vendors, and verify freight invoices. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience working with US and South Korea counterparts and a hands-on approach to logistics

Qualifications

• Must be experienced in coordinating shipments and documentation.
• Strong ability to liaise with forwarders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Send freight inquiries to forwarders and compare rates.
• Arrange air, sea, and land shipments and freight bookings.
• Prepare shipping paperwork including packing lists and invoices for customs.
• Coordinate customs clearance and communicate with forwarding agents.
• Track shipments, ETD/ETA, delays, and final delivery.
• Obtain proof of delivery and maintain shipment records.
• Check freight bills against quotations and flag discrepancies.
