Job summary

NetEase is seeking a localization QA tester to ensure overseas game text is accurate, natural, and culturally adapted for multiple markets. You will validate in-game text, UI, events and narratives, and log issues to protect copy quality across regions.

Qualifications

• Student or fresh graduate in Language/Translation/Media or related field
• Native-level proficiency in target-market languages
• Cultural sensitivity and gaming terminology
• Meticulous with strong quality awareness
• Casual/merge game player experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct language and functional testing of localized in-game text, UI, events and narratives
• Review translations for natural tone and cultural appropriateness
• Log, track and verify localization bugs (text truncation, encoding issues, contextual errors)
• Verify text consistency across language/region versions
• Coordinate with localization and worldview/narrative teams; provide feedback on how narratives land in target languages
