Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in production infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Proven track record leading an infrastructure domain across complex, multi-region or global environments.
• Strong practical experience with public cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and virtualised environments.
• Hands-on automation tooling with scripting languages and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and vendors without direct line authority.
• Experience with PKI, DNS, firewall, WAF, observability platforms is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Infrastructure Operations capability, governance, and multi-year roadmaps across internal, regional, and partner teams.
• Define infrastructure architecture, deployment patterns, lifecycle roadmaps, and modernisation priorities across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Lead major infrastructure incidents and drive root-cause analysis for sustained remediation.
• Identify infrastructure risks and provide structured recommendations and ownership plans.
• Establish engineering standards, configuration baselines, change controls, and automated operational patterns (IaC).
• Build organisational infrastructure capability through coaching, reviews, and knowledge transfer.
• Represent infrastructure operations in architecture, security, risk, and delivery forums with stakeholders and vendors.
• Drive standardisation and balance reliability, regional constraints, scalability, and cost across services.
