Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Project Engineering Manager to lead end-to-end HVDC project execution and customer engagement. You will coordinate global engineering teams across multiple disciplines, ensuring delivery within safety, cost, and time objectives.

The role emphasizes technical governance, risk management, and continuous improvement in a complex, multinational setting. Travel up to 20-30% is expected, with relocation assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in EPC project engineering within the power transmission industry.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale HVDC, FACTS, or EHV transmission projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of engineering execution processes across all project phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete engineering execution of HVDC projects from launch through commissioning and handover.
• Act as the single point of accountability for engineering delivery, including safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across System Engineering, Primary Plant, Civil & Structural, Control & Protection, Studies, Mechanical, Telecom, and Commissioning disciplines.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet contractual requirements, technical specifications, milestones and standards.
• Manage all engineering interfaces between customers, consortium partners, suppliers, contractors, and internal functions.
• Drive technical alignment across global engineering centers and solution line organizations.
• Lead engineering design reviews and governance activities; manage configuration and document control.
