Job summary

Brunel International S.E.A. Pte. Ltd is seeking an experienced HVDC Electrical Supervisor to oversee the assembly, installation and mechanical completion of critical HVDC converter station equipment for a major project.

You will lead erection activities on site, ensuring safety, quality and timely execution in line with OEM requirements and project standards. The role requires 5+ years in HV equipment installation, strong understanding of converter stations and substations, and proven

Qualifications

• 5+ years in installation and erection of HV equipment
• Experience with HVDC converter stations, GIS/AIS, power transformers
• Ability to interpret drawings and installation procedures
• Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams

Responsibilities

• Supervise onsite installation and assembly of HVDC equipment and associated systems.
• Coordinate heavy lifting, rigging, and placement of large electrical/mechanical gear per plans.
• Ensure compliance with OEM manuals, specs, quality and construction standards.
• Monitor progress, material deliveries, workforce productivity, and schedules to meet milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, logistics and commissioning teams to resolve interfaces.
• Review drawings and procedures to support field execution.
• Verify alignment, leveling, torqueing, and installation quality.
• Maintain installation records, punch lists and non-conformances.
• Supervise subcontractors and site personnel to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions; enforce HSE and permit-to-work policies.
• Support pre-commissioning and mechanical completion ahead of handover.
