Job summary

Dyson Operations Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Head of Technical Security to lead strategy and governance of security technology across the organisation. You will own the roadmap for access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring and related platforms, ensuring resilience and alignment with business risk.

You will partner with Security, IT, Facilities and Legal to drive compliant, scalable solutions, manage budgets and deliver multi-site initiatives with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in physical security technology, security operations or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, VMS, alarms, intrusion detection and security integration.
• Experience leading technology projects, managing suppliers and delivering across complex, multi-site or global environments.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, security design principles, system resilience and data protection.
• Ability to develop technical standards, governance frameworks, business cases and project plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, service performance and third-party delivery.
• Ability to operate calmly during incidents, escalations and time-critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the security technology strategy, roadmap and standards.
• Lead design, deployment and lifecycle management of physical security systems across sites.
• Define technical standards and operating requirements for security tech across projects and regions.
• Partner with Security, IT, Facilities and Legal to ensure compliant and effective technology.
• Oversee security technology projects from concept to delivery and benefits realisation.
• Ensure systems are maintained, patched, tested and resilient with SLAs and continuity plans.
• Provide technical leadership during incidents, audits and crisis response.
• Establish metrics and assurance activities to monitor system effectiveness and adoption.
• Manage external suppliers, integrators and technology partners to meet contractual expectations.
• Identify emerging technologies and opportunities to enhance capability and efficiency.
• Provide executive reporting on Technical Security matters.
• Support policies, training and guidance for security system governance.
