Job summary

SD Legal seeks a General Counsel to lead a global technology/media platform, partnering with the CEO to drive risk-aware growth. You will mentor a team, handle cross-border deals, and give timely advice to product, sales and marketing while ensuring governance and compliance.

The role involves working with Asia and overseas teams and navigating regulatory challenges with in-country counsel and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Tier 1 law credentials and top-tier education.
• Experience in both law firms and in-house environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations on global commercial deals.
• Advise C-Suite on business matters with long-term outlook.
• Support product, sales and marketing with real-time legal input.
• Navigate cross-border regulatory challenges with in-country counsel.
