Job summary
Standard Chartered seeks Head of FXScale Technology (UK or SG based) to define and own the technology strategy for its FXScale platform, a 24x7 electronic payments system. The role leads a distributed engineering organization, partnering with business stakeholders to align priorities with architecture, risk, and client experience.
The incumbent drives platform modernization, measures delivery quality, and ensures resilience, security, and operational readiness while managing senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Extensive senior technology leadership experience in banking or financial markets.
- Proven capability in electronic trading, payments, high‑availability platforms and modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Define, deliver and own the FXScale technology strategy and roadmap.
- Lead a globally distributed technology organisation and partner with business stakeholders.
- Embed automation, observability and secure coding across the SDLC for 24x7 operations.
- Drive resilience, incident prevention and operational readiness across the platform.
- Govern platform investments, risk controls and governance forums.
