Barry Callebaut Manufacturing Iberica SA. seeks a highly knowledgeable fats expert to lead the global fats portfolio and drive breakthrough product innovations within our cacao coatings and fillings business.

This role combines deep scientific expertise with strong project leadership across regions. You will collaborate with diverse teams worldwide to translate market and customer needs into differentiated ingredient solutions while actively growing the fats and oils portfolio.

Formación

• Minimal university degree; master or PhD preferred in food science or chemistry.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in fats/ingredients.
• Fluent in English; second language a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage global fats and oil portfolio and support product innovation across the global (60%).
• Lead & deliver global projects on fats (40%).
• Engage cross-region and cross-functional teams to provide required support to deliver the global projects.
• Plan and manage required resources to deliver the innovation projects.
• An experienced product expert in ingredients used in coating & filling, with a specific focus on fats.
• Good knowledge in confectionery fats formulation and application.
• Good business acumen in global markets (APAC, WEU, NAM).
• Good understanding of consumer and customer centric design of product innovation in a B2B business environment.
• Responsible for the fats portfolio across the global and use product expertise to support product innovation activities.
