Job summary

KLA FaST metrology division in Singapore seeks a skilled professional to provide high level applications support for optical metrology products. You will work closely with engineering, sales and customers to characterize new tools, run alpha/beta tests, and support pilots in ramp phases.

You will also lead experiments, develop recipes for complex optical tasks, train customers, and publish findings to share best practices with the global Field Applications team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Materials Science or related fields.
• Preferred experience in semiconductor processing or equipment industry.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level applications support for KLA FaST metrology products.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and marketing and with customer engineers.
• Lead product introduction projects: characterization, alpha/beta testing and pilot tool support.
• Provide escalation support to onsite field service engineers and coordinate troubleshooting.
• Perform experiments to characterize tool performance and develop recipes for optical applications.
• Create training materials and best known method documents for worldwide Field Applications team.
• Develop solutions with customers and publish papers or present at industry events.
• Manage in-house customer demonstrations and head-to-head activities.
