Global Facilities Tool Installation role at Micron Technology, Inc. focuses on driving continuous improvements in Front‑End Manufacturing, managing TI programs, and aligning BKM procedures across DRAM and NAND production sites.
Responsibilities
- Drive and support site TI projects, track global TI project schedule status.
- Align BKM procedures and oversee TSR and TUM Data System alignment.
- Standardize design packages, facilities capacity planning systems, and TI material specifications.
- Consolidate and standardize documentation for all tool type modules.
- Manage bid sheet alignment and tracking of build‑close processes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Sites, Facilities, and Supplier teams.
- Promote and adopt best safety practices across sites.
- Influence global peer groups to align on strategy, roadmap, and business plans.
- Set goals and development plans for team members, mentor and empower ideas, and support implementation.
- Delegate priorities, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
- Track performance metrics for fabs, share BKMs, and ensure compliance with BKM.
- Provide tactical support for fabs on safety, output, and cost issues.
- Travel internationally as required to support organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of semiconductor industry experience in a 300mm FAB.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and performance‑management skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision‑making abilities.
- Proven project‑management expertise with complex projects to completion.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Understanding of PAC and tool process releases is a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work during non‑standard hours when necessary.
- Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
