ByteDance Singapore is seeking an experienced Global Export Compliance Manager to build and enhance the export control and trade compliance program across the company’s global operations. The role focuses on operational controls, end-user due diligence, restricted party screening, and risk review for cloud and compute infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or above in international trade, law, compliance, public policy, engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience in export controls, trade compliance, compliance operations, due diligence, or related regulatory work.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. export control laws (EAR), screening, licensing fundamentals, and governance.
• Experience building or enhancing compliance programs in multinational environments.
• Ability to assess export control and counterparty risk across cross-border activities.

Responsabilités

• Help build and enhance ByteDance’s export control and trade compliance program, including policies, governance, and training.
• Design core compliance operations: screening, end-user due diligence, recordkeeping, training, and audit readiness.
• Develop processes for cross-border activities, technology transfers, cloud access, and infrastructure-related reviews.
• Partner with legal, product, engineering, procurement, and operations to embed export control requirements.
• Assess and manage export control risks across supply chain and vendor onboarding.
