Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering; proficient in Go, Java, Python, or C++.
• Backend engineering experience with distributed systems, microservices, databases, caches, and queues.
• Ability to design, develop, and deliver modules in complex business scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize core systems of the Global Payment compliance platform.
• Build scalable backend services for KYC, AML, sanctions screening and risk scenarios.
• Contribute to architecture with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and knowledge bases.
• Develop AI-assisted review capabilities to improve efficiency and decision quality.
• Collaborate with PMs, compliance, risk, and cross-functional teams.
• Improve system stability, performance, monitoring, testing, and incident response.
• Abstract complex compliance workflows into configurable platform capabilities.
• Participate in planning, design, code reviews, and project execution.
