Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Expansion, CEO Office, to own end‑to‑end expansion across APAC from market entry strategy to licensing, product readiness and launch readiness for global scale. Based in Singapore, you will partner with executive leadership to resolve regulatory, product, and operational challenges and to establish Airwallex as a local financial platform in each market.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in top-tier strategy consulting or expansion roles in fintech or payments.
• Proven track record of owning multi-stakeholder programs end to end.
• Strong operating discipline: governance cadences, dependencies, timely decisions.
• Experience with regulatory/licensing topics in financial services and interaction with legal, risk, and compliance.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in day-to-day work with good judgment on verification.

Responsibilities

• Own new country expansion strategy for APAC: size opportunity, select markets, define win conditions.
• Design market entry model: licensing path, entity structure, commercial model.
• Shape the product roadmap: translate regulatory/licensing into product scope and sequencing.
• Drive executive decisions: present market prioritization and launch readiness to leadership.
• Build the operating system for launches: AI-assisted research, licence mapping, dashboards, automation.
• Run governance: cross-functional sign-off and risk mitigation for go/no-go and launches.
• Flex onto priority CEO Office initiatives beyond core launches, such as strategic reviews or restructuring.
