Job summary

The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Modeler to lead the definition and governance of global data models across business domains.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, drive standards, and mentor teams while aligning data architecture with enterprise strategy, AI, and analytics initiatives. This senior role requires deep modelling expertise and the ability to influence across regions, ensuring scalable, auditable data structures.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of enterprise data modelling experience.
• Expertise in conceptual, logical, physical, canonical, dimensional and semantic modelling.
• Ability to develop enterprise and domain data models and dictionaries.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and requirements analysis.
• Experience defining standards and driving adoption across multiple domains.
• Knowledge of metadata management, glossaries, lineage, data quality and governance.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise data models across business domains.
• Govern modelling standards, naming conventions, model lifecycles.
• Lead migration towards global integrated data model across regions.
• Harmonise common entities, relationships, hierarchies, classifications, identifiers, and references.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand processes and priorities.
• Translate business concepts into scalable data structures.
• Provide leadership and coaching to teams and practitioners.
• Deliver artefacts with documented decisions and local extensions.
• Provide thought leadership on analytics, data, AI, and cloud data platforms.
