Job summary

The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) seeks an accomplished leader to drive the enterprise data platform, cloud infrastructure, and analytics capabilities. You will oversee ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and security across multi-jurisdiction data workloads, partnering with Security, Risk, and Data teams to ensure governance and compliance.

We expect 10+ years in enterprise data platforms, strong cloud and AI integration experience, and a proven track record of

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years’ experience leading enterprise data platform engineering, cloud platform engineering, or large-scale technology organizations within complex financial services environments.
Proven experience building and operating enterprise-scale data platforms supporting analytics, regulatory reporting, and advanced data workloads.
Deep expertise in modern data platform technologies and cloud-native data services.

Responsibilities

Lead the engineering, implementation, and evolution of the enterprise data platform ensuring scalability, resilience, performance, and governance across data workloads.
Develop and operate cloud-native platform infrastructure supporting structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data across multiple jurisdictions.
Own and manage enterprise BI and visualization platforms with secure, scalable access for reporting and analytics.
