Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of employment, payroll regulations and labour relations across regions.
• Significant experience in global employment, payroll, or international HR.
• Proven experience managing international clients across multiple regions.
• Clear understanding of employment law and practical guidance.
• Experience handling sensitive escalations and high-pressure situations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication for senior leadership.
• Experience in a matrix management environment across countries.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee global employment operations across APAC.
• Provide senior guidance on employment, payroll, and employee lifecycle.
• Interpret local regulations and translate into practical business solutions.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex client and employment matters.
• Manage relationships with international clients across regions.
• Handle sensitive disputes, regulatory issues, terminations and escalations.
• Partner with Legal, HR, Finance, and Client Services across a global matrix.
• Support complex onboarding and input on regulatory requirements.
• Drive risk management and continuous improvement across regional operations.
• Represent Asia region in global initiatives and senior stakeholder discussions.
• Travel to Malaysia, Australia and other locations; support US business hours when required.
