Job summary
ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Trading Manager to drive commercial growth in the international dry bulk market. You will develop strategic customer and supplier relationships, identify opportunities, negotiate transactions and provide market intelligence to support planning.
You will collaborate with trading, chartering and operations teams to ensure smooth execution, manage counterparty risk and contribute to long-term business development across regions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of commodity trading or similar role.
- Experience in international dry bulk trading.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers and suppliers.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive commercial growth.
- Monitor market developments, pricing trends and industry movements.
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage trading agreements.
- Build long-term partnerships and maximise business opportunities.
- Identify and manage commercial and counterparty risks.
- Work closely with internal teams to support smooth business operations and transaction execution.
- Contribute to business planning and market development initiatives.
