Job summary

HP is seeking an experienced Design Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of software and digital solutions for a global printer portfolio. You will collaborate with UX, product, R&D, engineering, and business teams across time zones to ensure alignment with strategy, customer experience goals, and measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes design intake, planning, and governance, with a focus on operating excellence and scalable program delivery across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, design operations, or related roles in software/digital product environments.
• Strong understanding of the product design lifecycle including discovery, requirements framing, and design handoff.
• Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams across time zones with clear communication and follow-up.
• Experience with Jira, Figma, Microsoft 365, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Miro, Smartsheet; keen interest in AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Own design intake, scope, and requirements readiness with clear ownership and timelines.
• Translate approved work into Jira epics, stories, and tasks; ensure traceability to PRDs and design plans.
• Maintain visibility across design workstreams: status, dependencies, blockers, and milestones.
• Act as a connective layer across UX, Product, R&D, Engineering, Data, and partner teams.
• Lead design operations improvements: standardized intake, planning, review, and handoff.
