Job summary

The ByteDance data center operations team in Singapore supports rapid growth by running hyperscale facilities and managing end-to-end server lifecycles. This role focuses on reviewing MEP designs for new builds, supporting procurement evaluations, and guiding commissioning activities to ensure scalable, reliable infrastructure.

You will participate in testing discussions, assist FM teams to manage design risks, and perform on-site inspections to maintain secure, stable operations, with emphasis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or HVAC.
• Lead a testing and commissioning team to perform L1 to L5 commissioning tests to validate the system design and resolve technical problems along the way.
• Understand global Data center infrastructure standards and possess the ability to review Data center infrastructure drawings.
• Electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience such as generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, UPS, electrical sub-distribution systems, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to clarity and detail.

About the Team

The global data center operation team supports the company's fast growth by operating hyperscale datacenters. The team manages the end to end lifecycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions and various infrastructure services ensuring that they are scalable and are reliable.

Responsibilities：

• 1. Participate and review Data Center MEP Design and other necessary disciplines for new data center builds to assess the effectiveness and stability of the design in-use on our data centers.
