Job summary

J.P. Morgan’s Commercial & Investment Bank is recruiting an associate to support senior bankers in Singapore, helping build client relationships and deliver banking solutions across cash management, debt markets, and derivatives.

You will drive KYC, conduct client analysis, and coordinate with onboarding and product teams to ensure timely approvals and execution in a global, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of coverage of Singapore-based financial institutions with understanding of banking products.
• Familiarity with external tools such as Dealogic, Coalition market data analysis, and ratings analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support senior bankers to build and develop effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide coverage and sales/marketing support for in-scope banking products (cash management, trade, credit, debt capital markets, derivatives, and futures/options).
• Drive KYC process and coordinate onboarding with onboarding teams and product partners for renewals, remediation, and new client onboarding.
• Conduct client analysis to identify business needs and translate findings into banking solutions within risk/return parameters.
• Assist in industry research and stay updated on clients, competitors, and macro/regulatory developments.
• Support on strategic initiatives like onboarding new clients and developing forward-looking account plans.
• Coordinate across lines of business (credit, legal, etc.) to deliver best-in-class services and solutions.
