Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Singapore is seeking an Associate in Global Banking and Markets, Operations - Collateral Management to focus on mitigating counterparty credit risk through operational process improvements and proactive service to clients.

You will collaborate with Credit Risk, Legal, Sales, Trading and Middle Office, developing skills in derivative and collateral products while ensuring timely issuance, bookings and controls and supporting new client onboarding in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to portfolio reconciliations and the processing of margin calls is advantageous.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight across the team on Issuance, Bookings & Controls.
• Coach and train team members to support development and upskilling.
• Act as first point of escalation for client inquiries and issues.
• Resolve client disputes and regulatory queries as appropriate.
• Support new client onboarding activities.
• Coordinate with Credit, Sales, Trading, Middle Office, Legal, Front Office and Settlements to resolve collateral-related issues.
• Assist collateral optimization activities.
• Manage monthly interest and coupon settlements.
• Perform control functions to ensure operational process integrity.
