Goldman Sachs Singapore is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a Global Banking and Markets reliability program. You will design and operate high‑availability, multi‑region cloud services, balancing latency, availability, and resilience across a 24×7 trading operation.

You will work at the intersection of reliability engineering, cloud infrastructure, and AI‑driven operations, using AI tooling to accelerate incident response, automate toil, govern AI agents, and raise production

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional software / reliability engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java 17+ with concurrency and modern language features.
• Strong risk acumen and ability to drive resolution across distributed teams.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and governance of AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate high‑availability, multi‑region, cloud‑native services with observability built in.
• Establish and manage SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets; lead blameless post‑incident reviews.
• Lead incident response for latency‑sensitive, high throughput trading systems.
• Develop event-driven architectures and optimized data paths for throughput.
• Apply risk acumen to change management, capacity planning, and resilience testing.
