Job summary

NTU Singapore, housed within the Global Asia Research Centre (GARC) and the Mining Mineral Life project, seeks a Project Officer to manage and deliver programs, conferences, and fieldwork logistics. The role combines international events with academic administration and working closely with researchers and partners.

The position supports the GARC and NEWRI teams, coordinating travel, budgets, and procurement while assisting with hiring of research staff and PhD students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related discipline.
• Experience in project coordination or event management preferred.
• Experience in higher education or academic environments advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conferences, workshops, seminars, lectures, and Centre-related events.
• Liaise with stakeholders on event requirements, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage venue bookings, travel, accommodation, and catering.
• Administer event registration platforms and databases.
• Prepare invitations, publicity materials, event websites, and emails.
