Job summary

CECO Environmental is a global leader in sustainable solutions for industrial air, water, and energy transitions. We seek a senior accounting leader to manage month-end close, oversee statutory reporting in Singapore, and drive regional accounting governance.

The role requires 10+ years in finance, strong leadership, and hands-on ERP experience in a US GAAP environment. You will lead a regional accounting team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and support mergers and acquisitions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• At least 3 years of people management experience is required.
• Experience in a U.S.-listed company environment is preferred, including knowledge of US GAAP, balance-sheet reconciliation governance, SOX, and internal control over financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word, with strong written and oral communication skills across all levels of management.
• Hands-on experience implementing finance systems or ERP solutions is required, including data migration, testing, controls validation, and business-user adoption.
• Three to four years of audit experience with a Big Four firm is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process, ensuring transactions comply with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Leads the Accounting team for Singapore and other assigned entities, providing hands-on execution and review.
• Supports ERP implementations and oversees general ledger entries with proper documentation.
• Oversees internal reporting and reconciliations using GL data and other sources.
• Prepares and reviews statutory financial statements for Singapore and other entities in line with local GAAP and filing timelines.
