Job summary

CECO Environmental Corporation seeks an experienced corporate accounting professional in Singapore to manage month-end close, revenue recognition, and internal controls. You will ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX, prepare GL entries, and support audits while coordinating with global teams on Singapore financial statements.

You should bring a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 3–5+ years of experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required.
• 3–5+ years of experience required.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Proactive advocate of change through analysis of business processes.
• Advanced Excel and Word; strong written and oral communication.
• Intermediate ERP systems experience preferred.
• Big 4 external audit experience is a plus; CPA/CA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing per US GAAP and internal policies.
• Handle Singapore project accounting, revenue recognition under POC, and related operations.
• Prepare general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliations with documentation.
• Prepare and review reconciliations using GL data, other departments, and external sources.
• Analyze GL account fluctuations and interpret accounting records and reports.
• Respond to accounting questions and support internal/external audits.
• Assist with SOX control testing and documentation.
• Prepare Singapore statutory financial statements and coordinate external audits.
• Support special projects and process improvements as required.
