Job summary

MEINHARDT (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking an experienced accountant to compile and analyze financial information, prepare monthly and annual accounts, and maintain accounting records. The role requires strong knowledge of Singapore FRS and statutory legislation, and close collaboration with other teams to resolve financial issues.

You will oversee monthly interco billings, reconciliation, asset ledgers, audit preparation, and ensure timely close and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore FRS and statutory legislation.
• Proficient in MS Excel; QuickBooks experience preferred.
• Independent and meticulous in work.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
• Responsible for monthly interco billings/ recharge and reconciliation.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Prepare financial management reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger to general ledger.
• Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process.
• Work closely with other functional teams to resolve any financial and accounting issues that impact the set of books.
• Supervision of the accounts staffs involved in the sub entities.
• Other ad-hoc duties required.
