Job summary

Activate Interactive Singapore is seeking a GIS Business Analyst / Product Manager to bridge geospatial tech and business needs. You will define, deliver, and continuously improve GIS-enabled products and solutions that support decision-making across the organization.

You will work with stakeholders, data teams, and developers to translate requirements into clear specifications, manage the product backlog, and drive adoption through training and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; 3–5 years GIS/product experience.
• Hands-on experience with GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS, MapboxGL) and familiarity with spatial SQL, Python, or web mapping.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into product specifications and user stories for GIS apps and data platforms.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog; deliver GIS solutions in an agile environment.
• Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability testing to guide product direction.
• Analyse spatial datasets to surface insights and support planning, collaborating with data engineers on ETL and spatial databases.
• Develop training materials and change management plans to drive GIS tool adoption.
