Job summary

Income is seeking a Telesales Executive in Singapore to conduct telemarketing calls promoting general insurance products, delivering clear product knowledge, and advising customers on suitable policies.

Ideal candidates communicate well on the phone, demonstrate customer service excellence, and are motivated to meet sales KPIs while supporting team-driven sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'N' Levels, 3 O Levels passes or NITEC certification.
• Insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI and HI are a plus.
• Past experience in the insurance industry is advantageous.
• Professional and well-spoken over the phone.
• Good verbal communication and customer service skills to assist customers.
• Motivated, driven, persuasive in recommending suitable products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to multitask to respond to enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telemarketing calls to promote general insurance products with clear product knowledge.
• Promote Income's brand through clear and honest sales pitch.
• Recommend suitable policies to meet customers' needs and identify cross-selling/up-selling opportunities.
• Follow up on enquiries and promote direct product activations.
• Achieve KPIs for sales performance, call quality and operational standards.
• Meet KPI targets for leads clearance and talk time.
• Work with Team Managers on business development and sales strategies.

As a GI specialist, you will be the subject matter expert to share the importance of protective insurance and sound financial planning to customers through phone; and recommending suitable policies to address the needs of the individuals and their families.

You will be required to:

• Conduct telemarketing calls to prompt general insurance products with clear and succinct product knowledge and references, to existing and prospective customers
• Entrench a strong brand image of Income through clear and honest sales pitch
• Recommend suitable policies to address customers’ needs and actively identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
• Follow-up on enquiries and promote direct business product activations
• Achieve KPI of sales performance, call quality and operational standards
• Achieve KPI of leads clearance and talk time
• Work closely with Team Managers for business development and implementation of sales strategies

To join us as a Telesales Executive, you should:

• Have obtained a minimum of GCE 'N' Levels,3 G.C.E ‘O’ Levels Passes or NITEC certification
• Relevant insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI and HI will be a plus
• Past experience in the insurance industry will be advantageous
• Professional and well-spoken over the phone
• Good verbal communication and customer service skills to appease customers
• Motivated and driven when met with challenges, committed, strong-willed and persuasive in recommending suitable products
