Job summary

ARTEMIS EXECUTIVE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to lead soil investigations and foundation design.

The role involves PLAXIS 2D/3D modeling, pile capacity calculations, and raft foundation design for complex projects in Singapore. You will prepare reports, support dewatering and seepage analyses, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Strong independence and teamwork skills are essential, along with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering.
• Min 4 years of relevant Geotechnical and Instrumentation experience.
• Hands-on experience with PLAXIS 2D/3D, SLOPE/W, A-PILE & L-PILE.
• Knowledge of STAAD Pro, SAFE, ETABS is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Soil Investigation to provide geotechnical design inputs.
• Prepare foundation recommendation reports with backup calculations.
• Perform pile capacity calculations and validate via pile load tests.
• Design piles, raft foundations, and use PLAXIS 2D for complex layouts.
• Design dewatering systems and seepage control measures.
• Model and assess slope stability and soil improvement options.
• Prepare backfill material specifications and compaction methods.
• Coordinate with team to deliver projects on time.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Monitor Soil Investigation to get correct geotechnical design inputs for design.
• Foundation recommendation report preparation including backup calculation (In all types of soils & rock)
• Pile capacity calculations in various soils/rocks. Test pile location plan/ Pile reinforcement calculations & drawing preparation. Validation of pile capacity by Pile load test (Vertical / Lateral / Pull out).
• Piled Raft design using the latest design tools and theories.
• Design using PLAXIS 2D Software (Sheet pile with structure waler /Diaphragm wall-structure/contiguous pile with soil/rock anchor)
• Design of all components like Anchor capacity, water & structure design, modeling top-down method of construction.
• Dewatering system design. (Wellpoint, Drawdown calculations, Open dewatering).
• Seepage control techniques like Jet -Grouting, slurry wall & flow net calculations.
• Soil improvement using stone column
• Design of stone columns, settlement calculations & Liquefaction calculations.
• Swelling soil management techniques.
• Back Fill material specifications & various compaction techniques used for different backfill materials.
• Slope stability calculations and analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering
• Min 4 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical and Instrumentation
• Hands-on experience using analysis & design tools like PLAXIS 2D/3D, SLOPE/W, A-PILE & L-PILE is required.
• Knowledge of STAAD Pro, SAFE, ETABS will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to manage tasks as per priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
