Job summary

Staffhub Group invites applications for a Design Engineer (Geotechnical) based in Singapore. The role focuses on analysis and design of geotechnical and infrastructure projects, including slope stability, shafts, foundations, and tunneling works, with preparation of calculations and reports.

The candidate should hold a Civil and/or Geotechnical Engineering degree (PE Board recognition preferred) and have at least 3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in geotechnical software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Geotechnical Engineering with PE-Board recognition preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as geotechnical design engineer on large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of codes of practice and authority submission procedures.
• Proficient with structural and geotechnical design software.

Responsibilities

• Carry out analysis and design of geotechnical and infrastructure projects.
• Undertake detailed geotechnical design and analysis (e.g., slope stability, foundations, deep excavation, tunneling) with calculations and reports.
• Review design drawings for compliance with regulations and codes of practice.
• Coordinate projects including submissions to local authorities and construction-stage liaison.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities on technical matters.

Requirements :

• Possess a Civil and/or Geotechnical Engineering degree (preferably recognised by PE Board).
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a geotechnical design engineer with proven track record in large scale geotechnical and underground engineering design and construction projects.
• Conversant with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures.
• Well versed in structural and geotechnical design software packages and technology.
• With good attitude towards work and timeline.
• Able to work independently to support the Qualified Person.
• Candidates with more than 5years of relevant experience will be considered for senior position.
