Job summary

AECOM Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead design development for foundation systems, deep excavations, tunneling, and land reclamation works. You will analyze geotechnical and structural elements and coordinate with clients and contractors for high-quality design development.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in geotechnical engineering, proficiency in soil-structure interaction analysis, and familiarity with local codes and submission procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant Geotechnical experience.
• Familiar with numerical analysis of soil-structure interaction.
• Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures.
• Excellent technical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design development for foundation systems, deep excavation, tunneling and land reclamation works under supervision.
• Analyse and design geotechnical and structural elements.
• Liaise and coordinate with clients and contractors for design development.
• Review soil profiles and perform geotechnical design calculations for preliminary studies.
• Lead preparation of detailed design reports, calculations, and drawings.
• Perform geotechnical analyses and interpret findings.
• Oversee ground improvement, foundation design, ERSS and instrumentation assessments.
• Oversee feasibility studies and prepare weekly reports and work programs.
• Conduct site surveys, monitoring and review instrumentation readings, and risk management.
• Prepare and compile technical reports and drawings.
• Play a key role in client management and satisfaction.
• Liaison with project stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Assist with authority submission requirements for geotechnical works.

• Responsible for analysis and design of geotechnical and structural elements.
• Assist team leader to liaise and coordinate with clients, contractors for the design development
• Review soil profile and perform geotechnical design calculation for preliminary studies.
• Lead in the preparation of detailed design reports, calculations, and drawings.
• Perform geotechnical analysis and geotechnical findings.
• Responsible for geotechnical design development and assessment including ground improvement works, foundation design, ERSS and Instrumentation
