Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking a Data Processor to join the operations team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The role involves designing, planning, and coordinating geotechnical instrumentation projects, scheduling control, and setting up on-site monitoring.

Expect collaboration with engineers, drafters, and field staff to ensure data quality and timely submissions. The position requires a degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology and experience in instrumentation and site

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or Geology.
• Experience in geotechnical instrumentation and site investigation advantageous.
• Ability to withstand challenging working conditions.
• Strong quality focus with determination to complete tasks.
• Self-motivated team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review field data from site engineers/geologists and compile lab results.
• Validate data accuracy against site records and laboratory logs.
• Generate borehole logs using AutoCAD and Geosmart.
• Coordinate with geotechnical engineers, drafters, lab technicians, and field staff.
• Data processing for field tests and align reports with project specs and standards.
• Perform quality checks on data inputs and reports.
