Job summary

Element Materials Technology in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking a Data Processor to join the operations team. The role focuses on designing, planning, coordinating geotechnical instrumentation projects, scheduling control, and setting up monitoring on-site.

You will review field data, compile lab results, generate borehole logs with AutoCAD/Geosmart, and ensure data accuracy in line with ASTM/BS/IS codes, while collaborating with engineers and field staff to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology.
• Experience with geotechnical instrumentation and site investigation is advantageous.
• Strong quality focus and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review field data from site engineers and geologists.
• Compile lab test results (moisture content, Atterberg limits, triaxial tests, consolidation).
• Validate data accuracy against site records and logs.
• Generate borehole logs using AutoCAD or Geosmart.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, lab technicians, and field staff; liaise with external labs or drillers.
