Job summary

Labcorp invites applications for an Intern - Medical Technologist (Genomics) in Singapore. This paid internship runs for at least 20 weeks, onsite, Jan–Jun 2027, targeting final-year students or those pursuing related fields.

You will engage in learning assays, clinical and commercial diagnostic applications, and gain hands-on experience in a drug development lab with mentorship and presentations at the end of training.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related Bachelor's degree programs.
• Other degree programs can also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Learn about assays and applications essential for clinical and commercial diagnostics.
• Observe analytical testing and document test results.
• Perform quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Upkeep of lab equipment, maintenance of lab supplies and housekeeping; rotate through other departments.
• Receive instruction and mentorship; present findings at training conclusion.
