Job summary

Eastern Pretech is seeking a General Manager, Singapore to lead the business unit, set strategic direction, and drive profitability in a dynamic market. The role requires deep industry knowledge, a strong leadership track record, and a clear ability to grow revenue while ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee operations, finance, and business development, collaborating with regional leadership to strengthen market position and deliver sustainable growth in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction, precast concrete, building materials, or related industry.
• At least 8 years of senior management experience with full business leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record in managing a profit centre and delivering business growth and profitability.
• Strong understanding of Singapore's construction and infrastructure sector.
• Extensive network with developers, main contractors, consultants, architects, and relevant industry stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, operational management, business development, and financial management.
• Strong commercial acumen and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Singapore business to achieve strategic, operational, and financial objectives.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
• Oversee business development and maintain relationships with developers, consultants, contractors, government agencies, and key customers.
• Hold full P&L responsibility including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance management.
• Oversee operations including production, project delivery, quality, logistics, and customer service.
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the management team and workforce.
