Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design team, allocate work, and guide drafting and design requirements.
• Improve productivity and accuracy of the design team.
• Provide design support to Production and Sales.
• Ensure all shop drawings are accurate and issued to departments.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinator to stamp drawings with PE and monitor shop drawing approvals.
• Discuss discrepancies with consultants/authorities and implement changes.
• Attend site meetings on technical matters with design engineers and sales staff.
• Enhance the team's technical capabilities and develop solutions per Singapore standards.
• Analyse team accuracy and efficiency, feedback to management.
• Mentor junior staff and handle additional duties as assigned.
