Job summary

DSV is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy, safety, and SLA compliance. You will oversee inbound/outbound, inventory integrity, and customer-facing operations in a 3PL environment.

You will build high-performance teams, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver cost optimization and service excellence across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Experience leading customer-facing operations in 3PL or distribution.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong operational and commercial mindset.
• Excellent customer management and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
• Data-driven with strong analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.

1. Warehouse Operations Management

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
• Ensure operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Drive productivity, accuracy, and cost optimization across warehouse processes.

2. Customer Management & Fronting

• Act as the key point of contact for assigned customers on all operational matters.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement and performance reviews.
• Understand customer requirements and ensure services are aligned to meet or exceed expectations.
• Manage and resolve customer issues, escalations, and service gaps in a timely manner.
• Provide operational insights and performance reports to customers.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams, including supervisors and frontline staff.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Manage manpower planning, resource allocation, and workforce productivity.
• Drive staff engagement, capability development, and succession planning.

4. Performance Management & Reporting

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, accuracy, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and present performance reports to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Ensure consistent achievement of operational and financial targets.

5. Process Improvement & Transformation

• Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Standardize workflows and implement best practices across operations.
• Support system implementations or enhancements (e.g., Warehouse Management Systems such as Blue Yonder).
• Drive automation, digitalise and innovation initiatives where appropriate.

6. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including transport, planning, IT, and finance teams.
• Ensure alignment between warehouse operations and broader supply chain functions.
• Support business development efforts by providing operational inputs for new opportunities and solutions.

Requirements
