Job summary

PLACEMENT PROFESSIONALS in Singapore is seeking an Insurance Broking Executive - General Insurance at Raffles Quay. You will provide insurance broking assistance and coordinate placements for clients, understanding their needs and presenting coverage options.

Role requires Diploma/Degree in Business or Maritime Studies, proficiency in MS Excel/Word, and CGI certification (training provided). Permanent, on-site, Monday to Friday with a salary up to SGD 4,500 base plus AWS, bonus, 16 days leave

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Maritime Studies or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and general office applications.
• CGI certification will be required if not possessed, with fees sponsored by the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance broking assistance and coordinate appropriate insurance placements for clients.
• Work closely with clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend coverage options.
• Obtain underwriting details from clients and forward to insurers to secure quotations and terms.
• Evaluate quoted premiums, coverage terms, and policy conditions before advising clients.
• Monitor clients’ statements of account and follow up on outstanding premiums.
• Track upcoming policy renewals and coordinate to ensure renewal before expiry.
• Perform other related insurance broking and client-servicing duties.
