United Overseas Bank is seeking a capable banking operations specialist in Singapore to drive data-driven improvements in corporate actions. The role focuses on understanding operations, identifying requirements through data analysis, and enhancing processes with GenAI and automation tools.

The successful candidate will contribute to regulatory compliance, performance KPIs, and risk mitigation while engaging in management reporting and cross-functional collaboration within a regulated global

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree or Diploma with 6 years in a banking operations environment, preferably in securities operations.
Experience in driving initiatives and change implementations
Good communication skills
Good knowledge of MAS and SGX processing
Knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques

Responsibilities

Understand business operations.
Identify business requirements and challenges through data analysis.
Improve corporate action processes using GenAI.
Streamline corporate action processes through system enhancements using Marco, VBA.
Analyze and interpret corporate action data, including event terms and conditions and payment process.
Adhere to processing KPIs, Service Levels and compliant with internal controls and bank policies.
In-depth understanding of product parameters, policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements on domestic and global market operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with corporate actions processing.
Carry out management reporting and any other assignments as given by Department Head and Division Management
