Job summary

ALLEGIS GROUP SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED seeks a hands-on software engineer to accelerate GitHub Copilot adoption across APAC. You will design and deliver Copilot powered POCs, develop reference implementations, and coach teams in real-world use of AI-assisted coding.

You will partner with SMEs, run workshops, and establish guardrails, testing, and governance while measuring impact on productivity and quality. Production readiness and handoffs are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years software engineering (non AI) + 1–2 years GenAI in dev workflows (GitHub Copilot or close equivalents).
• Proven ability to stand up POCs and move them to production in real teams.
• Strong enablement ability: teach, influence, and shift mindsets.
• Comfort working independently with SMEs; self starter.

Responsibilities

• Partner with SMEs to design and build Copilot powered POCs; configure “AI agents” in Copilot.
• Hands on coding to create reference implementations (not research; applied delivery).
• Run workshops, demos, and 1:1 coaching.
• Define guardrails: testing patterns, code review expectations for AI assisted code, governance.
• Instrument and measure productivity & quality; publish evidence.
• Prepare production readiness (pipelines, test automation, change control) and handoffs.
