Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia is seeking a Supplier Engineer to develop assigned suppliers and interface with internal stakeholders on quality issues. You will work on gas panel assembly and delivery systems, reporting to the OEM Supplier Quality Manager, in a fast-paced environment at Upper Changi, Singapore.

The role requires a strong background in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, QA/QMS, and the ability to drive improvements with suppliers while communicating effectively with teams

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing.
• Experience with gas panel assembly or gas delivery systems.
• Experience with QA/QMS, audits, FMEA, and basic statistics.
• Experience in cleanroom manufacturing and contamination control.
• Ability to communicate technical expectations to suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier technical audits and evaluate supplier performance, manufacturing capability and compliance to specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives at supplier sites focused on gas panel assembly processes, cleanliness, build quality and reliability.
• Lead quality problem resolution and CAPA actions related to gas panel assembly and components.
• Identify trends and drive systemic process improvements to prevent repeats.
• Act as primary quality interface between suppliers and internal engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Use enterprise quality management systems to document, contain, and verify corrective actions.
