Job summary

The Lab Education Centre is seeking a passionate Game Development Teacher who is proficient in Chinese. You will join at an exciting stage of expansion and product development, helping shape our game development programmes for students.

You will teach game development and programming to children and teens, guide design and coding tasks, and contribute to curriculum improvement. Weekend work is required, with Monday and Tuesday off.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the Singapore Education System.
• A grade in Chinese at both O-Level and A-Level.
• Higher Chinese is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Chinese, both written and spoken.
• Interest or experience in game development, programming or computer science.

The Lab Education Centre is expanding, and we are looking for a passionate and capable Game Development Teacher who is proficient in Chinese to join our growing team.

This is more than a teaching role. You will be joining us at an exciting stage of expansion and product development, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and refinement of our game development programmes for students.

The Role

You will be involved in:

• Teaching game development and programming to children and teenagers
• Guiding students through game design, coding and creative problem-solving
• Supporting the development and improvement of our game development curriculum
• Contributing ideas and feedback during the product development process
• Creating an engaging and encouraging learning environment for students
• Supporting the development of Chinese-language learning resources and programmes

Requirements

• Must have completed the Singapore Education System
• A grade in Chinese at both O-Level and A-Level
• Higher Chinese is preferred
• Strong proficiency in Chinese, both written and spoken
• Strong interest or experience in game development, programming or computer science
• Comfortable working with children and teenagers
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently
• Creative, curious and willing to experiment with new ideas
• Passionate about education and helping students develop their skills
• Need to be able to work on both weekends. Monday and Tuesday off.
